The
social
sciences
provide
an interdisciplinary support for
Technological Singularity. Ray Kurzweil has hypothesized that in 2045
machines will equal the cognitive capacity of humans. It appears that
science has the capability of developing hardware i.e. CPU, RAM,
Hard Drives, and compression technologies that will maximize the speed
and storage of data to be processed into information. Is it possible
for a program to copy the nuances of the brain? Here I am referring to
Crystal Intelligence rather than Linear Intelligence. Linear
intelligence is out objective quantified reasoning as math and formal
logic. We can argue these rules (A+B) = (B+A) which is Commutation as
universal for all. Crystal Intelligence is the experiential
intelligence one gains from life.
The
reality
for scientists is to recognize the empirical history that has
transpired since June17, 1987. This is the 200th Anniversary of the
United Stated Constitution. Political scientists postulate that no
weapon has ever been developed that has not been used. The neutron bomb
has not been used. Here we can witness wholesale by the amount of virus
ware one needs that the simple marginalization to destruction of
systems is quite attainable to rogue programs who compete with
legitamate scientists.
